Technology came, and social media came along with it. With the advent of technology and social media, we have been able to accomplish things in a faster, easier, better, and simpler way. Nevertheless, it has also made our life a great deal more challenging.

Right now, a lot of us are unable to escape the confines of virtual reality, many people feel lonely, but they are attempting to escape this loneliness by going into this virtual world. We are smiling at a screen, and we are missing out on the true experience of laughing with another human being. This is because we are hiding behind our devices and screens, where there is little to no human touch and connection. 

Many people have seen all these virtual photos and videos as reality and "life on the other side" always appear to be better, yet they are missing out on the opportunity to experience the reality of living their own life to the fullest.

The entire globe has recently emerged from a global pandemic, and it was a terrible experience. All of us do not want to experience something like that again! However hard it is to say, another pandemic is on the horizon, the mental health epidemic is slowly but surely approaching.

According to the Office of the National Statistics in the United Kingdom, (26%) of adults reported that they felt lonely often, always or some of the time. This shows that we do need human interaction and connection, that it’s a key part of who we are and it makes us a well-rounded human.
